Sunday Social Week 9

So I know I have not linked up with a Sunday Social in forever but hey I am working on getting back into the blogging world sometimes life is just more important than blogging (yes ok I know a blogger should never say that but I am not a perfect blogger.) At any rate I am back and hope to stay back! So let's link up with A Complete Waste Of Makeup and move on.
Sunday Social
1. What is your favorite Fall activity?
I love LOVE love fall.  The smells, the cool crisp breeze, the colors, the food, so on and so forth.  To just name a few of my favorite activities:
Hiking
Camping
Fall drives through the mountains
Pumpkins
Halloween
Thanksgiving
Lazy afternoons watching football
Nights by the fire pit
Leaves!
2. Do you follow a football team? if so which one and why?
Football sadly not so much.  I love to watch it and pick a team for whatever game is on but I don't get really into it.  I mean I get into in the way that I like to pick the team that Ryan doesn't pick so that I can cheer them on and get competitive but like do I really care no so much.
I live in South Carolina where Carolina and Clemson is a big feud and I went to Carolina so I will always pull for them but other wise I just love to watch football with a good beer, good family/friends, and some good finger foods any day.
3. What is something fun about Fall in your area?
I am lucky enough to live within a few miles of the mountains, so hiking, camping, and mountain drives are a big part of fall around here.  As a kid I remember how I use to love the colors of fall and getting to share it with my grandparents when they would come visit from Michigan.   We also live close to many apple farms and can drive just an hour or so to pumpkin patches where you can go on hayrides, pick apples/pumpkins, can go through a corn maze, and different small town festivals.

4. Fav Fall outfit staples?

Just to name a few:
Boots, Jeans, Long Selves, Sweaters, Scarves

5. Thing you are looking forward to most about this coming Fall season?

Camping

Long car rides through the mountains
Pumpkin Carving
Ryan and I about 5 years ago on our first Halloween
Exploring new places
Cool fall nights by the fire
Afternoons on the porch under a blanket reading a good book
Christmas Shopping
Thanksgiving
Pumpkin Pie
Haloween
6. Favorite Fall holiday? Traditions?

Thanksgiving!

Traditions have changed over the years when it comes to Thanksgiving in my family.  I remember when I was little and we still lived in Ohio my grandparents, my aunt, and my uncle all coming down and spending it with us.  Then when we moved to South Carolina we would do Thanksgiving earlier in November before my grandparents headed back home to Michigan.  We would also always celebrate my grandpa's, my aunt, and my own birthday then (we all have November birthdays).  Then there were 2 years that I flew up to Michigan to visit with family when I was in college, and even though every Thanksgiving is not perfect, and is different, and we can't all be together they are all amazing.

Ok there were so many things I wanted to write about, go into detail about, add pictures, and what not but well that didn't happen.  Anyways what are you favorite things about fall? I could go on and on about fall forever!

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I enjoyed a nice lazy one!

Life is always more important than blogging and I'm not afraid to admit it aha. I do love my blog though and it is in fact a huge part of my real life! I would never want it to come before my relationships though which is hard sometimes to balance work, a social life and then keeping up with the blog. #bloggerproblems aha.

Also, I absolutely love the outfit with the owl necklace! The colors and everything - so perfect for fall!
