Ok so I guess I better at least finish my last week of kindergarten blog, even though I am still sad to have had to say good bye to some of my kindergarten kids (and well older ones too) I was happy to get out of there.
Monday was PE and it started off rough. The kids spent the first fifteen minutes sitting (as close to quite I have ever seen them) as the teacher put on a stern look and talked in Korean. After we did the warm up and danced to a few songs the kids were crazy again and ended up sitting quietly once more. We then spent a few minutes doing different races before having to sit some more. I feel for our PE teacher because our kids are crazy and not just normal crazy but ape shit crazy.
Tuesday was a sad day as we lost both Eric from K7 and his sister Grace from K6. This really would not be a big deal for most schools but this means we now only have 6 students, please note that is for the whole school.
Art & Music was uneventful with K6 as we made trees.
Science with K7 was amusing as the boys learned about springs and made a Bob In The Box. One little boy was so cute, he would knock on the box and say "Bob, Bob?" "Megan Teacher I think Bob is a sleeping" "Bob, Bob?" and then yelling at the top of his lungs "BOB!" to which I finally just woke Bob up for him. Aww I miss that kid.
Wednesday was more or less a sad day as I only had one student to teach Science K6 to. We made pinwheels that attached to a stick and board with a straw. We should of been able to blow into the straw and move the pinwheel but yet again thanks to Made In China it didn't workout that way or well at all.
Thursday was Music class and we only had 5 kids because one of our little boys was sick. It was pretty uneventful and well sadly at this point I cannot quite remember what we talked about. I think, oh wait never mind we talked about Cuba and did a little Salsa dance.
Friday well was just a run around day and lucky for me Annie Teacher told me I could just go chill out in the teachers room.
And well that was that.

Kinergarten-Two Weeks In One Blog
Life around here has been crazy so you are going to get last weeks and this weeks kindergarten update in one, and yes I know these use to be such happy post full of excitement and life and now well they are dull and dry...sorry. Kindergarten was cute and fun for about a week or two and then it was like wow I teach 2 kids most classes and that is it, and for the most part the 2 kids don't get along and fight the whole class, and the people in charge of kindergarten are both more or less....challenged. Anyways moving on.
Monday:
Last week in P.E. he brought some rope, some foam circles, buckets with huge holes in the side, and we worked on putting the rope through the different holes. We also worked on how to play nice because it turns out that some of our kids don't get along and not to take things from others and not to hit others when we they take our things; however I feel that kid had it coming when the other team jumped him for taking their foam circles.
This week in P.E. we played with things that looked like turtle shells. We put them on our heads, we worked on balance with them, we sat inside them and tried to spin in them, we pulled each other around in them, and we over all had a good time with them.
Tuesday:
Last week in Art and Music we made our own little oceans.
Last week in Science K7 we got to write secret messages with the use of candles and iodine. Sorry no photo it more or less turned out to be a huge mess.
This week in Art and Music we made our own little zoos.
This week in Science K7 we made a "Flying Superman". Yet again this week there will be no photo because well I really don't want to talk about it! It was a huge mess and I am not to sure what the out come should of been but I know that whatever it was it didn't happen. Oh well I guess the poor kids had to learn sooner or later that you really cannot fly with the use of a magnate.
Wednesday:
Last week in Science K6 we made maracas, one with beans and one with rice. We then got to draw faces on them and see "who" was louder Mr. Bean or Mr. Rice.
This week in Science K6 we made...well really nothing but I set up this:
and we had log races.
Thursday:
Last week in Music we got to learn about The Beatles, pianos, guitars, and drums.
This week in Music we did more with The Beatles, pianos, guitars, and drums.
Friday:
Last week in Show and Tell the kids got to watch Peter Pan 2, from what I saw it was a cute but odd movie and I will never understand why they always feel the need to remake the classics!
This week in Show and Tell the kids got to watch Gulliver's Travels, and that is not a kids movie, and even more so it didn't really have Korean subtitles to make sure the kids understood.
That is that for the past two weeks and well this week is my last! By last I mean my last job ever have to see these kids, and well that is just magic to my ears! Wish me luck!

Kindergarten-A Short & Sweet Week
This past week was short and sweet yet I am still behind!
Tuesday was Buddha's Birthday (in case you didn't know he was 2,555 years old this year!) and so everyone was off of work to celebrate (even though Christianity is one of the main religions over here now) so no school! So Wednesday was our first day back and it was K6 Science, with two very cute and excited little girls to see "Megan Teacher" after a week of vacation. We made little boats that ran on batteries, and being the sweet teacher I am I even let them put them in some water. Here are the photos, sorry no water photos due to well the lack of my pre thinking.
Thursday was Music with the same sweet woman that comes to sing and dance with the kids. It was uneventful with only Billy (our interesting little 7 year old boy) crying maybe once or twice when everyone would not pay him attention and do just what he wanted. I am happy I only have 3 weeks (3 classes to be exact) left of the kindergarten craziness.
Friday was Show & Tell and yet it again it turned out to be a movie day, those poor kids have had to watch the same movie for the past few weeks over and over.
Wow that was a quick blog! Sorry not much more to report about it as of now, well I won't lie I have a ton to say but now is not the time.

Kindergarten And Market Day
I am enjoying a nice cloudy day and thought I would go ahead and get this blog out of the way before the sun comes out (fingers crossed it is hopefully soon) and Ryan and I head out to explore the folk village (one of my favorite places from last years trip).
Ok so I might as well go ahead and knock both of these out at the same time, because well I don't really have to much to say about either. Let's start with kindergarten this week and wrap up with a few quick words and photos of Market Day.
Monday was P.E. and well as always it was fun to watch the kids as they danced, laughed, and learned how to do different things. This week they worked on balance again with some (more or less) build it yourself kind of balance beam, or well what we were using as one. Most of the kids had a good time but yet again we had problems with one boy who felt the need to go around and push people off or cry when he could not get his way. I was impressed because the P.E. teacher did not give in to him as he cried and pitched a temper tantrum like all of the other teachers (besides Ryan and I do).
We were told that we didn't have to work until 1 on Tuesday and that we would just be doing science classes because they were going on a field trip but we got a call around 11:30 Monday night saying that the trip had been canceled and we needed to go in at our normal hours. I showed up at 12:30 to teach my two sciences only to find out that the science kits had not come in yet so it was a movie day and I was not needed. I was not too happy about this news seeing as how my next class was no until 3:20. Lucky for Ryan we just happened to have an art project back up plain for him to use instead of his one science class for the day.
Wednesday was Market Day and yet again the kids were supposed to go on a trip but it got canceled. Ryan and I went in at 11:30 to help get ready for the day ahead only to find out that we were now in charge of just watching the kindergartners as they ran wild through the school. This was sadly not that much fun seeing as how they wanted to play our basketball and golf game that Ryan and I were setting up and well our kids really do not like to go by the rules, but some of them had a good time and were cute. We finally got them all grouped together to watch a movie so we could finish working on what we needed to get ready for the day.
So what is a Market Day you ask? Well very simply our kids get stickers for days they are good in class, do their homework, do well on a test and so on and so forth and a certain amount of stickers will get you a JC Dollar to use on Market Day. They then can buy food, toys, or play games at different stations set up in the school. Sadly a lot of our kids didn't have a whole lot of stickers and even some of our better, brighter students didn't have many. Most of the bad kids are all in the same classes and all have the same teacher and they all some how ended up getting TONS of JC Dollars from Kevin teacher as he tried to bribe them.
Grace and I got put in charge of the Beauty Salon doing tattoos and nails down on the sidewalk. We felt bad for all the kids going buy that don't go to our school so we ended up doing a lot of "free" tattoos. Even with the crazy pollen that has been going on by us I think Grace and I were the lucky ones because the school was such a mad house with kids running around everywhere.
Ryan had to head out at 6 to teach his City Hall class, we worked on shutting everything down, packing up and cleaning. The school was a mess, we had waffles with chocolate meaning that there was a sticky brown coating on everything, we also had chicken wings so there were bones and half eating chicken bits all over the school, and just trash everywhere. Oddly Korean kids or well people in general really don't ever seem to think about the mess they leave behind them. I headed home to pack, meet up with Ryan, eat some Korean Barbecue, and then meet up with Grace and Jasmine for some drinks.
I am happy to say that was our week thanks to Children's Day on Thursday there were no classes and next Tuesday is Buddha's 2,555 Birthday so yet again no classes! We took off Friday and Monday and are missing some of our kids but I am sure we will be alright.

Kindergarten
Check it out it is still Friday my time and I am blogging about my kindergarten week already! I am on it!
Monday:
P.E. was pretty eventful seeing as how I thought the whole class was going to kill one student. The P.E. teacher brought dominoes and all the kids were working in see how long of a chain they could get going, well almost all of the kids one boy didn't feel the need to help but instead ran around the whole time knocking all the other students dominoes down. So all of the other kids were quite upset and the P.E. teacher was not to happy. The same boy also felt the need to go around pulling little girls hair and hitting everyone, sweet boy right?
Tuesday:

Science K7:
The boys were crazy but we did make it though the project. They learned how a ball inside a capsule could "crawl" like a worm. They were pretty excited about this project once we got it to work. Sorry about the mess desk and the not so fancy project but hey it was made in China and the kids loved it.
Wednesday:
Science K6:
We made weathercock's and the girls were, well unamused by them after about 5 minutes. They found the compass to be pretty cool and I tried to teach them, North, South, East, and West but we found out after a few minutes of walking around the room trying to find North that they did not work. So the girls climbed under the table and pretended to be in a cage instead.
Thursday:
Music:
We sang, we dance, kids cried, we pretended to be bulls, and played the drums. It was all but fun as we placed the kids in partners and taught them a song and dance only to have the boys trample all of the girls and make them all cry. Then one little boy had his drum taken away because he couldn't play it right and was all but happy as he pitched a little temper tantrum. Class went on for about an hour this way with kids happy one minute and then unhappy the next when they couldn't get their way. I am so happy there is no music next week because of Children's Day on Thursday.
Friday:

Today was show and tell I had one little boy try to eat my hair, one girl cry when I could not read her a book in Koran, another boy try to climb up my leg then fall and hit his head and cry, and much confusion as always as the kids ran around and I tried to figure out what in the world was going on. But hey it is Friday and I am now done till Monday so in my book whatever!

Kindergarten.....
Lets see what did we do last week, dang it if I cannot seem to stay up to date on these post lately.
I guess I will just keep this one short with a quick update and some photos.
Monday was P.E. it was the same old same old with the main activity being learning how to balance on some balance boards he had. Everyone did pretty well with the exceptions our two sweet little 5 year old girls.
Tuesday was Art & Music followed by K7 Science with 4 very umm active boys. Here were the projects:
Art & Music is getting hard to do without any sort of art budget or any art supplies. Lucky for us our kids think just about everything we make is extremely cool, well until it breaks or rips and then the crying starts.
The Science K7 project oddly entertained the boys, one of our boys even told me how it worked.
Wednesday was K6 Science and was full of lots of spit at the girls tried hard to blow and get their projects to work.
Thursday was Music class. Sadly I spent most of the class trying to keep two of the boys from beating on each other or me, and one from screaming the whole time whenever he didn't get his way. Sadly I cannot even remember what she talked about or what instruments we played just about how bad the kids were, and how angry the music teacher was when she left.
Friday was Show & Tell, this week we just gave them blocks and let them go. I really do think we need a better set up for this class because letting the kids just more or less run around always ends up in at least one or two crying because something happen or someone did something to them or something that belonged to them.
Sadly that was the week, and I am sadly counting down the days till I no longer have to teach kindergarten. Don't get me wrong I love the kids, I don't mind teaching, I just hate that one kid punched another kid last week and don't a dang thing was done about it except the one kid who punched the other got a small "oh it's ok" and then sent back to class. The kids get crazier and crazier each week and it seems like no one has any control over them, and everyone is too scared to say anything to their parents in fear of hurting their feelings by saying hey your kid is bad in class, picks on other students, won't do what he/she is asked, and do not respond well to no.
Anyways I will try to knock out this weeks kindergarten blog on Friday, because I know so many of you are waiting to hear all about it!

Kindergarten 1/2 Week!
I won't lie the fact that I only had 3 out of 5 days of kindergarten this week was awesome!
Monday:
No kindergarten because we had just gotten back from Singapore. Sadly I do not think the kids or the P.E. teacher missed me at all.
Tuesday:
We had Arts & Crafts and then K7 Science with my 4 very unruly boys.
For Arts & Crafts we made these simple and cheep little lanterns:
K7 Science did a magic trick box where a mirror helped a coin "disappear":
One little boy was not impressed with the "magic" behind this trick.
Wednesday:
They went on a field trip, lucky for us it was also the same morning the fridge repair man came.
Thursday:
I had music class where the poor music teacher yet again looked like she was trying to figure out if we pay her enough to come one a week and put up with our kids.
Friday:
Show & Tell which turned in to movie day. Ryan and I sadly some days feel like we are the only teachers who really teach our classes. Most of the time it seems like the other teachers just let the kids run around the school or just show them a movie or give them some color pencils.
Well that was the week nothing to great sadly and just another one out of the way till I am back home!

Kindergarten....Kindergarten.....Kinergarten...

Note to self: Kids are great! Kids are cute! Kids are smart! I love kids! Working at a place where the kids run free and cannot be punished because of the fear of losing them....never again!
Where to start? I guess Monday would be the best place however all you will read is that P.E. was Monday. The P.E. teacher came, he danced, he brought little bridges and skate boards that the kids pushed themselves around on and raced to the bridges, and then they played tag and used the bridges at the jail. I know, I know, I don't sound to excited but the fun of kindergarten is wearing off and the kids are quickly learning they can get away with anything. I worry soon we will have to have two different P.E. classes because 2 little girls each got hurt this week because the boys are bigger, older, and get a little bit...umm how to say...more excited about the activities and just go wild!
After Monday comes Tuesday and as always I will just show photos with a quick explanation of both Art & Music and Science K7.
Music & Art:
Science K7:
We used lights to see the inside of our little paper man! Wow so cool when you look through the black tube and hold it up to the light you can see his bones! I sadly didn't have the heart to tell them that you could see his bones without the "magic" black tube.
Then you have Wednesday with Science K6. This weeks was a little, no very messy but I will spare you the dull drag out of details and just show you what we made. It was very cool but very messy and well I don't know about you but I have learned if it is something they shouldn't touch kids LOVE to touch it, and then rub it all over their nice clean cloths.
And Thursday was the last day for me this week because of the Singapore trip! And as always it was Music Class. I have to say that our music teacher is amazing seeing as how our kids are so rotten and she keeps coming back for more. Today they learned about Africa, Tanzania to be exact, and got to play drums!
And that was my week for kindergarten! Thank you Singapore for getting in the way and interrupting my work week! I love you that much more because of it, even if you are going to rain the whole time and be extremely hot and humid! Just a few more classes to go, a parents night and a bus ride to the hotel before boarding the plane in the morning.
I hope to blog from Singapore with just random updates from my kindle but nothing major until I get back next week and caught back up on classes.
Note to self: Kids are great! Kids are cute! Kids are smart! I love kids! Working at a place where the kids run free and cannot be punished because of the fear of losing them....never again!
Where to start? I guess Monday would be the best place however all you will read is that P.E. was Monday. The P.E. teacher came, he danced, he brought little bridges and skate boards that the kids pushed themselves around on and raced to the bridges, and then they played tag and used the bridges at the jail. Kindergarten Catch Up
FYI: I have been just a tiny big of a "Negative Nancy" this week so if this blog seems like it is full of sarcasm well I am sorry it is. Please don't hate me, I love my kids but not always how they act or the crazy lack of plan drill that we run.
Ok so it has been a whole week sense I have said anything about what my cute little kindergartners are doing, and well for the most part that is because they don't really do too much and last week was kind of a roller coaster of ups and downs and a lot of dull moments. So I guess I will update what happened last week as I update you with this week, which means last week will now be this week and last week that I am talking about will be last last week, or as my elementary school kids like to say "teacher, yesterday, yesterday, yesterday, yesterday was....(fill in the blank with a name of the week) right?".
Monday - P.E.:
Last Week: The P.E. guy brought balls this week and the kids worked on tossing/catching, and kicking/passing. We also bounced on the balls (I was a little bit mortified at the thought of this little tiny ball busting under the weight of my not so little tiny butt as I bounced on them with the kids), used the balls as drums, did headers with the balls, and so on and so forth. He brought little soccer goals and we had the kids take their new found passing skills for a test run as they tried to shoot a goal. At the end of class the P.E. teacher did his little good bye dance and made everyone balloon swords.
This Week: For starters when I walked in to the school I was shocked to see Hanna just chilling brushing her teeth with her hot pink sweat pants down around her ankles. The P.E. guy yet again brought balls, goals, and this week even cones along with 3 new songs complete with new dance moves. Yet again I did my normal stand and hold up the wall and try not to laugh as the kids try to do as he does, hey it is hard I have tried and found out that I am not very coordinated when it comes to dancing. It is always fun to watch the two little 5 year old girls give up and just more or less spin in circles. This week they had to take all the balls and try to set them on the top of the cones (not the pointy cones you see out by the road but the low little circular soccer cones that look like someone cut the top of them off), then they got to knock the balls off, then put them back on again, then pick up all the balls, and then pick up all the cones (I love how kids think it is fun to clean up, I wish I still thought it was a game to clean). Class was wrapped up with some more shooting, and trying to get them to play a game of soccer, which didn't work to well as all the kids just kept trying to pick up the ball and didn't want to share. I sadly got quite a few laughs throughout class watching Jenny seemingly run straight into our padded wall only to hit it, fall to the ground, and then get up as if nothing happened what so ever only to do it a few mintues later.
Tuesday - Art & Music, Science K7:
Last Week:
Art & Music: Sadly I don't have any pretty pictures of the amazingly awesome project that Ryan and I put together, and that may be best because if I did you would see that it was really not that amazing or awesome. We have been put on an art budget that really doesn't allow for us to get much anymore, and sadly even now makes paint out of our range. So instead we bought some string and some colored straws with the plan to have the kids draw, color, and cut out flowers to make necklaces. They turned out really cute and the kids had a pretty good time making them, some of them needed more help with the flowers and cutting than others but everyone left happy on Friday with a necklace to take home to mom.
Science K7: I also don't have a picture of this project because the teachers kit was taken away from me and taken home to the director of the kindergarten's daughter. I think after explaining that without a teacher's kit it is a little hard to explain and show them how to do the project the kit will reappear soon. Anyways we made pan flutes out of straws. The boys were all quite happy with their new musical instrument until the moment came when it was time to test them out, and they didn't work. I sadly spent the rest of the class trying to entertain them with games like "Simon Says" and "What color is this?" and so on and so forth.
This Week:

These took a total of 10 minutes to take so sadly I ended up playing dinosaur with the kids the rest of the class and chased them around the room as they yelled and I said "Rawwww" a lot.
Wednesday - Science K6:
Last Week: In science with my 2 little 6 year old girls we made trumpets. Unlike the pan flute these trumpets actually worked, very well, and very loudly.
Once they (I) had finished assembling them the music began. So in hopes of keeping the noise somewhat down and them entertain we played a game kind of like "Simon Says" that was more or less like "blow 1 time on your trumpet, jump 3 times, spin around 6 times, touch your toes, blow on your trumpet 1 more time and then touch your head" so on and so forth. I love how little kids are not only amused but also enjoy playing games where a grown up tells them what to do.
Once I made my project the girls each handed over theirs so I could stretch the balloon over the opening and secure it for them. As I was doing one girls project she grabbed mine and proceeded to shove almost the whole thing in her mouth, cough all over it, and leave it all nice and slobber only to then want hers back because mine was wet. Oh why thank you it is just what I wanted!
This Week: We made these:
Sadly this didn't take long to make. More or less it came already put together and all we had to put tape on the sides to hold them in place, add stickers, and add the string. The girls were not to impressed with these so to help them become more amused I showed them how to army craw, and we then spied on Ryan though the window as he taught Writing to the K5 girls. Whenever he would look up we would "hit the deck" in hopes that he would not see us. The girls had quite a good time once Ryan caught on and played back with us, they were such little giggle boxes.
Thursday - Music:
Last Week: Sadly music class is now becoming a "same old same old" kind of thing. Yet again the kids learned about Italy, and they learned a new song about a street car. The instrument of the day was the "apple maracas" they were so cute I had to find a picture of them to share with you:
Class was wrapped up yet again with fun parachute games.
This Week: I just taught this class a few hours ago and yet my brain is coming up with nada as far as what to say about it, but for your sake I will give it a try (I know, I know, because you all care so much). We didn't really do anything to...exciting. They did a dance and freeze game, they played with chicken egg shakers, they played hot potato, we had some boys get in a fight, we had some girls cry, we played "Twinkly, Twinkly, Little Start" as they crawled under a sheet covered in stars, and then we sang the "Good Bye" song. To say the least the music teacher was all but happen when she left for the day, our kids are not the best kids in the world to say the least, and our new boy is ummm lets just say a bundle of fun to say the least. He has painted finger nails and a perm.
Friday - Show & Tell:
Last Week: Show & Tell more or less was Movie Day, and the kids more or less just randomly roamed about and did whatever they pleased.
This Week: Show & Tell was more or less running around like crazy and seeing how many kids could cry at one time! One little boy was laying on the ground and our new boy just walked over to him and slammed his foot down on his belly, well the little boy burst out crying and was very upset to say the least and I mean who wouldn't be. When everyone looked at the little boy who did it he had this evil little grin on his face like he didn't even do anything wrong, this little boy should be so much fun (he is the new one I mentioned earlier this week). We had a few more kids crying due to bumps and what not as they randomly just thew themselves on the ground and would run in to each other. Oh I even got my boob grabbed by one of our "oh so cute lovable kids". Show & Tell is my least favorite part of the week as it is the part of the week where the kids have nothing to do at all and seem to think that I am a tree and can just climb up on me, grab my feet as I try to walk, stick their fingers in my noes/ears/eyes/ect, and just generally be horribly rotten. I know they are kids but I still feel like they should be taught right from wrong, and it kind of upsets me that we are not doing it because we are worried about hurting their feelings and losing them.
Ok well that brings everyone back up to speed for the past two weeks! Hope my thoughts were not too cynical, some of them really are cute!

You know like when you go to Macaroni Grill and they have the mirrors everywhere in the bathroom and you can see yourself all the way around and it seems like there are 500 of you? |

Science, Music, and Show & Tell
And I guess it is time for me to do a quick Kindergarten update before we kick this next week off. On Thursday I had my two little 6 year old girls for Science and we made these:
Those are "magnet trees" and sadly they didn't work that well and one of the smarter girls got upset and just used the stickers around the poll...so yea no magnetic force needed just stickers for her!
Here are the main words we had to work on for the day:
The music class was uneventful (painfully uneventful), one little boy refused to play, sing, or take part in anything. The music class was yet again about Italy, and they learned about "cage bells". The class is all in Korean, so sadly I more or less stand off to the side and just make sure nothing goes extremely wrong.
And last but not least for the week was Show & Tell and just as always it was pretty much baby sitting, the kids seemed "stressed" so Ryan got lucky and some of his Friday classes were canceled and the kids got to watch a movie instead. Show & Tell was yet again uneventful with the only mishap was when one little boy got a nose bleed.
Wow and that was the rest of my week in kindergarten, pretty soon these post will be to dull and boring to post!
Wish me luck this week, we are still trying to figure out what art project to do this week but I am sure we will come up with something.

P.E., Lepercon Hats, and "The Claw"
So yesterday was the 2nd P.E. class for our oh so hyper, evil, crazy, cute kids. It could of gone better but hey I don't have a teaching degree, or the least bit of an idea on how to run a functioning kindergarten of 7. Once again the very energetic P.E. teacher came, did some stretching, did his little dance (I still have yet to catch on however I do love to stand in the corner and try to contain my laughs as the kids try to do as he does, and one little girl just spins in circles really fast), they did activates with these big squish blue cylinder like things (for example they had to bounce on them, jump like a frog down them, get into teams of three and race to see who can roll them to the wall the fastest, carry them around over their heads, poor Hanna was a little to short so she just ran around with her hands over her heads while the other two boys did most of the work, and then had each team run up to them when a whistle was blown, beat on them then swap with the other team when the whistle was blown again, we ended class with him doing some sort of hand game and clapping.
Sadly one of our little 5 year old girls didn't get to enjoy P.E. as she is terrified of men, even the short, tiny little Asian boy who teaches P.E. and would not even go in the room without screaming hear head off. On a brighter note she is no longer scared of Ryan!
Today was Art & Music for me with the two little 6 year old girls, good news no one peed this week! And Ryan had Art & Music with the three 7 year olds boys, and man are they a handful! With Thursday being Saint Patrick's Day and all we decided to make these cute little Lepercon Hats:
Little did we know that kids here, or really adults for that matter, don't have the slightest clue as to what Saint Patrick's Day is. So Ryan said the boys just called them "Western Hats" and the girls just giggled and covered themselves in green paint.
Then I had Science with the three 7 year old boys, and it was crazy. One of them is very sharp, he does a great job with listening and repeating and following instructions. The other two well they try bless their hearts, however the one that hid under the table laughing and trying to get his tie to write in his work book for him has me stumped. The project today was making a claw that worked on air pressure. Sadly the boys don't have any clue as to why they work but are very excited they work. They are not the only ones seeing as how our projects come from China and half the time the parts don't fit together right. Today it was hard for me to get the parts to snap together and well the left out a few of the instructions that explained that it did mater what what the parts went, so that just added to the craziness and my joy of the "brilliant plan" that goes into everything.

Sadly I was pulled aside twice during kindergarten to have conversations that could of come right out of the "Twilight Zone" and accomplished nothing but getting frustrated and annoyed. After the mess today with the projects taking way to long I decided to put all the teachers projects together in advance to make sure they worked, they went together right, all the parts where there, and the steps made sense, well sadly I had all the teachers projects taken away, why I don't have a clue and after my explanation of why I wanted to see them for a little bit I got a "well you see" answer that made no sense. I mean really people I am the only one that teaches the class so no one else needs the books and it's not like I am going home to use it to teach in my own private hogwon (school)....like some people I know.
Ryan and I spent a good few minutes seeing what all we could pick up with our new found toy!
